We proactively focus on practicing and reinforcing specific behaviors such as loose lead walking, recall, threshold control, and sit/down stays, all accompanied by consistent marker words.
Our goal is to provide not only physical exercise but also ample mental stimulation for your dog. By incorporating these structured activities, we promote on-leash contentment and enhance off-leash control. This approach ensures that your dog receives a well-rounded experience, stimulating their mind while fostering a sense of obedience and control.

Our structured group walks are designed to build upon your dog's existing training by incorporating elements of simple obedience, brain games, thresholds, and impulse control.
To maintain the consistency and benefits of these structured group walks, we require a minimum commitment of two walks per week for each dog. This frequency allows us to continue reinforcing and developing your dog's training and mental well-being on a regular basis.

S T R U C T U R E D S O L O W A L K S
Our structured solo walks are specifically designed for reactive or anxious dogs, as well as dogs that require individual attention and preparation for pack walks.
To ensure consistent progress and benefits for your dog, we recommend a minimum commitment of two solo walks per week. This regularity allows us to provide the necessary attention and training for your dog's well-being and prepares them for potential future participation in pack walks.

We offer a service that includes the safe collection and transportation of your dog in our fully equipped van. Once your dog is in our care, we ensure their cleanliness by providing a cleaning service before returning them to your home.
Please note that the travel time is included in the overall price of our service, but it is not deducted from the duration of the walks. This means that your dog will receive a full hour of outdoor activity during the walks, ensuring they have ample time for exercise and enjoyment.

At Hazel & Hound, we prioritise quality over quantity when it comes to dog walking. We understand that each dog is unique and has individual needs and preferences. That is why we provide one-on-one walks for every dog during an initial trial period, which typically consists of approximately 6-8 sessions.
During this trial period, we focus on building a strong bond and understanding with your dog, ensuring their comfort and trust in our care.

At Hazel & Hound, we prioritize the safety and well-being of every dog in our care. That's why we ensure that each dog is allocated a Hazel & Hound ID tag from the moment of collection until they are safely returned home.
We take the health and nourishment of your dog seriously. 100% Salmon pate is available throughout the walks and we provide a first aid kit at all times, ensuring that we are prepared to address any minor incidents that may occur during our outings.
